Halima Abdullahi
Consultant
Halima is an accomplished legal practitioner with experience in corporate governance. She currently works as the Company Secretary for the Water Sector Trust Fund. She provides legal advice to the Board of Trustees at the Water Sector Trust Fund, and assists the Board by providing secretarial support, managing communications and verify adherence to relevant statutory requirements. She has overseen the implementation of the Mwongozo Guidelines, the Code of Governance for State Corporations and the Water Sector Trust Fund. Halima also advises the Commonwealth Alumni Advisory Panel at Commonwealth Scholarships.
● Provided expert advice on legal and corporate matters to the Board of Trustees at the Water Sector Trust Fund and ensured compliance with relevant laws.
● Support legislative capacities of various county governments by drafting Bills and conducting trainings for Members of the County Assemblies and key personnel therein on law and policy making.
